Ashley Skabar and I did a piece together on what the Iditarod Mushers eat on the trail. The story was published today on the Alaska Dispatch here. We were very happy that we were able to make portraits of our favorite mushers Lance Mackey, Martin Buser and John Baker, to name a few.

Orion Collective’s own Oscar Avellaneda departed from Whittier today via ferry for Bellingham, Washington. Oscar and a couple of his friends are going on a estimated nine month-long bike tour. His tour is starting in Bellingham and ending in Bogota, Colombia.

On Wednesday, October 25th, I left Anchorage, AK for Kotzebue, AK, the first village of five I would visit over the next four days to make photographs for a calendar showcasing Nana shareholders who are business owners. After Kotzebue, I travelled to Noatak, Kivalina, Noorvik and Kiana.
